Unification and Marginalisation of Young People

This book concentrates on actual questions concerning the changing life situations and life worlds of young people, such as the transition of young people from school to society; education, training and labour markets in different European countries. One of the main aims of this book is to analyse the social exclusion and marginalisation of young people with respect to region, gender, employment, family and youth culture. These themes each relate in turn to the social participation and unification of young people. This book gives the reader a more enlightened and potentially more effective perspective on young people's situations. It also provides an adequate framework for youth policy development in different countries throughout Europe.
